I started by sending one to Maggie, the most lovely girl I've had the pleasure to meet via instagram, actually. But turned out to be the most nice company for coffee and treats. I had already sent her another postcard recently, but since we both thought it was forever lost, I prepared this one.


 Meanwhile I also answered a very short but most kind letter from Ana Lucia, from Brazil. She asked me a few nice question, so it was really joyful to reply to her. And also, I prepared another letter for Mariana, since the one I sent along with the first postcard for Maggie seems to still be in an uncertain location. At some point I decided not to send those pretty postcard alone, so I've made a few envelopes with some stationery goodies for each one of them.

I like to start every year by doing some good. There's something motivational on giving away smiles and love. Besides letters, I now some of the participants of my project are very much in love with crafts and decors. First kit packages are ready to fly to their awesome future owners. I hope everyone find this modest package a useful resource for 2016 first sendings :)

This were busy times in my routine. I had some unexpected orders for handmade items in such short notice, that I almost felt like I would never be able to finish everything on time. Well, in fact that would've happen if I actually had taken some time to myself.
Most of you might already seen some of my handmade items, but I decided to show the most special order I've had, wich brought a happy feeling while creating and crafting.


I don't do equals except when I'm specifically asked to. I feel that our place for words must be as unique as the words itself. I love to draw with marker instead of printing, and have the most joyful moments while sketching stickers with ink and aquarelles.
And the best part, because these where Christmas gifts, I has the chance to over-create a little, and decorated the packages with handmade roses and other cuties.
I am a notebook collector, so "having a notebook" of ours is something that I see as a very special connection between us, memory, what we live today and somehow wish to leave for tomorrow. Well, maybe I'm not making any sense, but as notebook addict, trust me when I say it is the best to have a notebook that reflects a bit of who we are, and what we eager to be, I am wrong?

 

This was the beautiful surprise I got around Christmas! Dear Claudia (@cloudydaysandletters) sent me this, but because I was gone to Porto for holidays, it only reached me when my boyfriend came to town to meet me for New Year's eve. She is one of the most creative and beautifully colorful persons I know (and I'm a "all blacks" kind of girl). I loved the little bag for photos. It's funny because I don't think I've told her that I love little bags and always glue them on my journals for pictures. So, it was a nice coincidence.
The postcard is a painting of Palamós, her summer village and the most lovely heart shaped papercut that reminds me the portuguese typical ones. So beautiful!



Nowadays I'm a bit behind in all sorts of things. I have some letters in my pile, some pictures to be finished and some orders to be shipped. I'm hoping to find the time I need to catch up with this lovely young lady, as soon as I can. And I hope someday we'll be able to share a nice talk+walk, a hug and the delicious treats - that I miss so much - from "la Boqueria" :)

This was sent a while ago, but I had some troubles with my computer. For some reason we didn't seem to be recognizing my SD memory card - panic situation for any wannabe photographer. Finally, my mum was able to recover my USB cable. Because later is better than never, and because it's the kind intention that matters, here I am showing what I made for our dear Nícia.

Since my snail mail project started - and even before - little messages were sent and left to strangers. Same kind of messages that I send to my penpals. My main purpose is to give a little unexpected light to each one's day, leading them to explore and enjoy simple things we humans often pass by.
So lately I've been working on new messages but I turned all of them into stickers. This way, people can share them just like I do, or just use them anywhere they wish.


I am a lover of every kind of sticker cute thing I can find. I always find some useful purpose for them. But isn't it nice to have a world of stickers with kind challenges and nice words?

These are the latest awesome incomings that were arriving since December started. There were some amazing letters, and some really moved me. Also, my grandmother came to town, and brought me some "lost" mail the mailman gave her. I felt so relieved! Meanwhile, in my address things were starting to feel weird. Since a long time I couldn't remember a time when there was not a single incoming in my mailbox - well, except for bills, that always find their way to reach us...
Then one day, one of the new neighbors was consistently denying to open the door to the mailman. It was just lucky, but I heard them arguing and ran to my window trying to figure out what was going on. I was starting to get nervous, but specially angry when I finally understood all about it. But then, days passed, and in the middle of a rough busy week, a sweet letter finally arrived.

I asked her to share three things with all of us, and she was glad she had the opportunity. But it is me who thanks her for being such an amazing young lady.

Well, I was dealing with technical issues in our previous one, so I decided to keep it simple once and for all, and moved it here: a more familiar platform, in my point of view.
The submit section is now gone, but for a very good reason. Before, you could upload anything from your devices, but to make it easier and funnier, I decided that from now on all entries will be selected from our main hashtag #senditforwardp directory, both on facebook or instagram. This way you get a chance of getting featured on our inspirational selections or for possible collaborations or further surprises.

Freebies: from the first moment I've started this project, I've always had the idea and will of sharing some of my printable creations with my readers. Unfortunately, I was not able to it previously due to those conditioning issues with the website. But now, everything is good to go, and I can finally tell you that today you are receiving your first set of printables.
